Most people don’t design user interfaces. But all of us use them. So choose the interface for something that you use and identify a particularly good or poor aspect of the interface design. It doesn’t have to be software, although there are some interesting challenges with software interfaces on the many different form factors we have today. By form factors, I mean there are giant desktop screens, tablets, smartphones, and now smartwatches. Things that work well on one display may not translate well to another.
