Write a case on the resolution you chose for your in class graded debate. You and your team are to turn in

ONE paper with all of your names on it. For most of you, that means four of you will turn in one paper.

You must write a policy case in favor of the resolution if you are the government team. If you are the

opposition, reword the resolution so that it opposes the resolution you are debating. For example: if the

resolution says “The United States should legalize same sex marriage” and you are the government team,

use the resolution as it is worded. If you are the negative team, rewrite the resolution so that it says, “The

United States should NOT legalize same sex marriage” and write your case as if it is a government case.

You also need to cite sources in the case. Make sure the case is typed and double- spaced. You should

include a bibliography on a separate page. You need a minimum of five sources. You need to include at

least two contentions, a plan and two advantages. Follow the format illustrated in the Policy Debate Case

Structure with Samples document that i have uploaded. Please let me know if you have questions or
