Creativity is inherent in the innovation process. How often, though, do we, as working adults, possibily with families and/or partners, indulge our playful creative side, doing something completely unrelated to work or school? Chances are, if we want to do something playful and creative we stifle the urge, because we have so many other things we’re supposed to be doing. Well, during Weeks 8 and 9 we’re challenging you to stifle the stifle and go do something playful and creative. Blow an afternoon or an entire day – possibly a weekend! taking random photographs, or making stained glass windows or furniture, or cooking something new and exciting, or putting together model airplanes or ships, or painting landscapes, or creating needlecrafts – there is a vast plethora of playful creative activities you can choose from.
The only requirement is that it must serve no purpose other than to indulge your need for playful creativity. No plagiarism Safe Assign software will be used.
Once you’ve engaged in your playful creative activity, write up at least 250 words (you are welcome to use more!) briefly describing what you did, but focusing more on how you felt during and after. Visual aids (SFW) welcome and appreciated! Post your thoughts to the Extra Credit Thread.
