The review of literature is a critical, analytical summary and synthesis of the current knowledge of your research topic. Professor Announcement:The next part of your proposalThis section will be the review of the literature. You need three research studies to present. These can be studies you have found in the past if you feel they are appropriate. Remember to use at least one from a nursing research journal. After all, we are nurses Start with a short paragraph describing your search strategy.Then discuss the three research studies. These are not to be studies that explain how important your problem is. These are studies that support your proposed intervention. In other words, studies similar to that which you are proposing. You are trying to lend support to your proposed intervention.After discussing these studies, sum it up with a paragraph. What do these studies, as a whole, suggest? Are there any gaps in the literature that your study may address?
