Relating latent heat of pressure to Van Der Waals equation
Find a formula that gives lp(latent heat of pressure change) for an ideal gas and for a van der Waals gas.
I have found that lp = -v(molar volume) for an ideal gas but have not found one for a van der Waals gas. This was derived from dividing the partial derivative with respect to T with the partial derivative with respect to v of the ideal gas law. Dividing and simplifying results in -v but I have not been able to find one or derive one for Van Der waals equation of state.
