Internet Search with Keywords
By the due date assigned, post the results of your Internet Search to the Discussion Area. Then, by the end of the week, respond to at least two classmates’ posts with helpful feedback. Ask questions about classmates’ topics or searches, and make suggestions for further research and development.
For this assignment, you will continue with the topic you chose in Week 2 Discussion, topic: Violent Conflicts in Africa
performing a basic Internet search for your topic and reporting your findings. You will learn about resources that are generally available and see how people are discussing the issue on the Internet.
Use Google (or other search engine of your choice), and do keyword searches for your topic, reading a few of the sources you find. Then, respond with the following information:
- What keywords did you enter?
- Which keywords seemed to yield the best results?
- Which types of sources were you able to find (e.g., websites, articles, blogs, etc.)?
- Identify one source that seemed to be the strongest, and describe what is most useful or interesting about the source.
- Cite any borrowed material using APA style formatting
