In this assignment, you will explore the process used to prepare a persuasive speech. You will create an outline of your topic selection and speech.
Deliverables
Create an outline for Speech #4, the persuasive speech, including an introduction, 2-5 main points, and a conclusion.
In addition, identify the following:

Description of your audience
Topic
Thesis
What question will you answer in your speech based on your thesis statement?

Submit a one-two page double-spaced paper including the outline and the items above

NOTE: This assignment is part of the requirements for your Speech # 4, the Persuasive Speech. You will be creating an outline to be used for your Persuasive Speech topic.

Step 2
Select a topic that fits into one of the categories of persuasive speeches– questions of fact, value, or policy. Identify the following elements in your topic:Identify the following elements:

Description of the audience for your speech (define your audience)
Topic
Specific purpose
Thesis
A question based on your thesis statement that you will answer in your speech.

Limit the scope of your topic based on the idea that you can present the actual speech in three to five minutes.
Step 3
Develop an outline that corresponds to the pattern of organization you have selected to prepare for your speech. Create the outline of your speech using the SpeechOutlineTemplate7th.docx download. Or you may choose another outline template from the internet.

Locate several speech template outlines on the Internet.
Select the one you believe is appropriate for your speech.
Copy the template outline and paste it into your word processing document.

Step 4
Save and submit your assignment.
When you have completed the assignment, save a copy for yourself in an easily accessible place, and submit a copy to your instructor using the dropbox.
