Final Reflection Paper
The objectives of the final reflection paper is to assess whether or not ideologies are useful tools to understand the world and predict which ideology would dominate the world in the future.
Due date
The final reflection paper is due on Sunday August 8th 11:59pm (Pacific Time) on Moodle.
Tasks (or how to write your paper)
This reflection paper will require you to go back to the very first chapter of the textbook and the very last. In an essay-like paper, you will need to answer the following questions:
Are ideologies useful to understand the political world we live in?
Are ideologies useful in your daily life?
Which ideology would dominate the world in the future and why?
Make sure that your paper has the structure of an essay with an introduction with a clear thesis statement (what is your position and answers to all of those questions), a clear body with multiple paragraphs that address deeply each questions and a conclusion. The goal is for you to reflect on what you have learned, how useful it was, but also which ideology caught your attention and will likely dominate the world of tomorrow.
Your paper should be 4-5 pages paper (double-spaced, Times New Roman, font 12, margins 2.5cm). As per other work in this course, the referencing has to be done using APA style. At least 3 academic references must be used (one of which has to be your textbook).
Grading
The final reflection paper is worth 20%. The rubric used will be similar to the ones used for the debate papers and will be uploaded on Moodle.
