Lab Report (see section 5.8 in your textbook)
– Results section should include data table, sample calculations, and the grain-size distribution graph similar to that shown in Fig.5-6 in the textbook.
– Discussion section will include the semilogarithmic plot combining the results of sieve and hydrometer analysis (see step 9 and 10 in section 5.6) and the percentages of various fractions of gravel, sand, silt and clay, and clay-size particles present in the soil.
