Further, your null hypo is always that there is no difference and the alternative is that there is a difference. 2) You need to make sure, as noted, that your study is possible. How will you identify CA and AA women in Atlanta? What will you use to measure self-perception and the other outcomes of interest? 3) You also need to make sure that your research is supported by the literature and more specifically, addresses a gap in the literature. Is it reasonable to examine differences between AAs and CAs? Has this been done before? Where is the literature lacking? He also wants me to know what type of multivariable analysis that will be used. HE wants me to keep the goal simple Basically I want to address, examine how perceptions and body image acceptance can be a contributing factor to obesity in African American women in Georgia. It has been shown that African American women are more prone to be obese and more acceptance of this body shape whereas other races would have been concerned. Could the acceptance of body image, shape and excess weight promote obesity and prevent them from really lose weight and reduce incidence of obesity among that community.
