This project will allow you to explore nutritional topics that you are personally interested in and share your information with your classmates. I strongly recommend that you select topics that you are genuinely interested in. Maybe you’ve heard about the alleged benefits of omega-3 fatty acids and would like to know more about how they work. This assignment is your chance to learn more about whatever piques your interest in the nutritional world.
Directions:
For this project:
Decide what topic you want to research.
Find an article on the web about your topic.
Individually create a 1-2 page typed summary detailing the following:
The main points the article makes.
The reliability of the information. (Do you think the information provided is reliable? Why or why not?)
The impact this information has on your diet. (Did this information make you want to change your diet in any way? Why? Why not?)
Create a ‘Fact Sheet‘ about your topic (with appropriate references) that you will then share with the rest of the class.
