we were giving an unknown liquid and asked to find out what that liquid is; by using chemical tests(Beilstein test, Ignition Test) boiling point, IR and NMR. the boiling point was: 242c. and the results of the tests are:
Beilstein test: positive, there were a green flame, so it has a halogen.
Ignition test: negative, no smoke, so it’s not aromatic.
the IR attached, and I’ll send you the NMR soon. and you can read them and figure out the functional groups and the molecules + the right one based on all of these pieces of info. fill in the two sheets
