This discussion board is somewhat difficult – first you need to understand the concept of institutional isomorphism (isomorphism means “one shape”). You can review Conley’s explanation on p. 183 of your text. Second, you need to think about what this means for individual workers. So, to use the example Conley mentions in the text, if you are applying for entry-level jobs in the banking industry, what would it mean if all the banks in your area have identical policies and practices?
