Start with a slide that shows the name of the organization and its mission and vision statements. Then develop the strategy map that includes at least one initiative and its goal in each of the four perspectives. Warning: the initiatives you identify in this assignment will not save the world. Do not waste your time trying to come up with some unprecedented solutions. You can choose to implement a low risk chest pain protocol or low risk congestive heart failure protocol as described in the file Cardiac Protocols Improving Health Reducing Costs DE2_Presentation.pdf. Imagine that you are charged with the creation of a healthcare clinic in an existing pharmacy. Many retail pharmacies and other retailers (such as grocery stores or Wal Mart) with pharmacies are adding healthcare clinics to their operations. The clinics are usually staffed by physician assistants or nurse practitioners and offer a wide range of services. The project is to create the clinic and have it ready to start seeing patients. First create a work breakdown structure (WBS) that includes as many tasks sub-tasks and work packages as you feel are appropriate up to a maximum of 30. I will be graded on the appropriate identification of tasks the appropriate decomposition of tasks into sub-tasks and further decomposition into work packages. I will also be graded on the visual structure of your diagram. Second develop a responsibility assignment diagram for up to 10 major tasks. Finally develop a risk mitigation plan for the top three risks you can identify. Make your determination of the top three list based on a combination of the likelihood of the risk and the impact of the risk on the project if it occurs. You do not need to explain or justify this determination. Use Words table capability to develop a plan. All three can be created in a Word document. Some tips: Give priority to being as complete as you can with the higher level tasks. If you achieve your maximum of 30 tasks by drilling down on two major tasks but omitting one or two other major tasks you will be penalized. Focus on the top level tasks and try to be as balanced as you can at identifying sub-tasks. Once appropriate sub-tasks have been identified you can be less concerned with balance as you develop sub-sub-tasks. You do not need to annotate tasks with any time or resource costs.
