what is the HIMS administrator? The HIMS Admin controls the system and will be responsible for creating new employee and assigning access rights to the systems functions. The system will provide methods or buttons that allow the HIMS Admin to delete an employee, add a new employees and provide account IDs and passwords.
Scenario 2: Delete Account
Initial Assumption:
The actor or employee is no longer active in the role (e.g. is no longer an employee).
Normal Workflow:
The HIMS Admin selects the employee account.
The HIMS Admin clicks “Remove All Access” button to remove all access rights of employee.
What can go wrong?
The system fails to remove all access rights. The HIMS Admin should open the account and manually deselect each right and save.
Other Activities:
The system may still be used by all other active employees while access rights are been modified.
System State on Completion:
User is logged on. The changes to the access rights are stored.
Scenario 2: Create Account or Add access rights
Initial Assumption:
The actor or employee has no existing account with the clinic (New account) or the user has an account and needs additional access rights (add access rights).
Normal Workflow:
The HIMS Admin creates an account if the actor is a new actor by entering the name of the user.
The HIMS Admin selects the “Assign xxx Access” where xxx is the job function of the new user.
The HIMS Admin clicks “Save” to accept changes and username and password is generated for new actor.
If user needs additional access rights,
The HIMS Admin selects the user account and navigates to the access rights.
The HIMS Admin selects the additional access rights (by checkboxes) and saves changes.
What can go wrong?
The system fails to accept new account or changes to access rights. The HIMS Admin should attempt to create account again or select access rights and save.
Other Activities:
The system may still be used by all other active employees while access rights are been modified.
System State on Completion:
User is logged on. The changes to the access rights are stored. Or a new user account is created and saved in the database and a username and password are generated for new user.
