Stress is common psychological distress experienced by nursing students. Stress defined by emotional or physical tension experienced by individuals in response to certain events which reflected through frustration, nervousness. As discuss by Admi et al. (2016), stress alters the neural dynamics and precipitate disorders that shapes personality. The prime reason behind stress among nurses is the issue experienced during team working such as poor communication, conflict, and tension (Smith & Yang , 2017). The nurses tend to experience stress due to a shortage of workforce and they require to provide care to the patients according to the high demand of patients and employers. While stress affects the physical well-being of individuals, it affects the personality of individuals. The stressed nurse often feel agitated, frustrated, anxious which reflected through overreact, anger and violence (Smith & Yang, 2017). The nurses often experience lack of motivations, low mood social withdrawal and restlessness because of stress. Consequently, these behaviors affected the practice of nurses while dealing with patients. The nurses tend to avoid effective communication, empathetic gestures which resulted in low patient’s satisfaction. As discussed by Sauer, Hannon and Beyer (2017), a significant number of nurses experience a lack of focus and job burnout which contributed to the development of unhealthy habits such as frequent alcohol and tobacco use. Hence, in order to improve the wellbeing of individuals and professional practice of serving patients, nurses are required to involve themselves in the activities that reduce the stress they are experienced in their daily life.
While researchers suggested an array of activities to reduce stress, there are few activities that most suitable for nurses to incorporate in daily life in order to reduce stress. Labrague et al. (2018), highlighted a few such activities such as physical activities for 30 minutes, practicing relaxing techniques such as meditation, yoga. These activities produce endorphins which act pain killers which improve sleeps and reduces the stress experienced by individuals (Smith & Yang, 2017). Other activities such as spending time with family and friends, adopting healthy habits of reading books, listing to music can be incorporated by nurses in order to reduce their stress. These activities not only improve the personality and associated behaviors but also improve professional practice.

Delegation is defined as the assignment of any authority to the person to carry some specific activities (Hooghe & Marks, (2015).
Considering Over-delegation, one of the examples of over-delegation is “would you pass my medications for me and sign off my orders? I’m really busy”. In this case, one nurse is assigning a task of signing off orders to others since she was busy taking care of other responsibility she was assigned with. While the workload is a major issue in nursing, taking responsibility for own activities is also part of nursing values. Hence, in this current context, I would first politely ask her regarding the reason behind assigning the task to me and her responsibilities. After the response provided by her, I would ask my other coworkers to share her workload so that she can accomplish her responsibilities. If my other coworkers failed to provide her support through reducing the workload of her then I would provide her support by reducing her workload so that she can take the responsibility of her work.
Considering under delegation, one of the examples of the under delegation is that “I’ll do it myself. The nursing assistant argues with me when I ask her to do something” In this case, a nurse is taking ownership of her task due to lack of support from others (Chang, Solomon & Westerfield, 2016). In this case, I would ask her first if I can help her with any other activities in order to reduce her workload. After that, I will communicate nurse assistance regarding her refusal to the tasks so that nurse assistance can take some of the responsibility and reduce the workload.
Considering refusal to accept assignment of legitimate delegation, one of the examples of this incident is “I don’t know how to do that very well. In this case, the nurse refused to the reasonability by exhibiting excuse. Taking an insight into the situation, I will ask her the reason behind her perception of not having adequate expertise to conduct the task. If she said she failed to do the task accurately, I would guide her to do the task so that she can take the responsibility of the task. I will consult with my supervisor to guide her in doing the task.
