For the capstone project, you will design a 20-slide PowerPoint presentation, excluding the Title and References slides. Within the presentation, you will include at least four substantive bullet points per slide, with visuals (e.g., graphics, pictures) to enhance the presentation. In terms of the audience, you will be presenting to a fictional group of stressed-out executives in need of a variety of conflict management tools. In fact, you are the keynote speaker for a conference on conflict management that they are attending, which has been put on by a national Christian business association.

You will need to offer several main sections in your presentation, including (a) three slides on the nature of conflict, common responses to conflict, the impact that conflict has on the workplace, and benefits of conflict (entitled “The Nature of Conflict”), (b) three slides on tools for preventing and ameliorating conflict (e.g., communication skills, collaboration)(entitled “Managing Conflict”), (c) two slides on the importance of cultural sensitivity in the workplace (entitled “Cultural Sensitivity”), (d) three slides on a strategy to negotiate in the workplace (entitled “The Art of Negotiation”), (e) three slides on unique challenges to consider in the workplace and how to resolve them (entitled “Unique Challenges”), (f) one slide on ways to integrate the Christian faith with the strategies outlined in the presentation via scripture or biblical stories/examples, and (g) five slides on a real-life conflict that you have recently experienced at your place of employment and how you resolved the issue using the tools you have outlined in this presentation (entitled “Case Study”). With this last component, please be thorough, and include the parties involved, the nature of the conflict (e.g., history, development, concerns of each party), your role in the conflict, and how you specifically resolved the conflict (e.g., your specific response, other parties’ response to your interventions, current state of the conflict). Please remember to apply specific concepts from your presentation to the resolution of your case study.

The PowerPoint project should be in APA style, with a Title and References slide. Please cite your sources within each slide, in addition to listing them on the References slide. You will need at least 10 peer-reviewed sources beyond the class textbooks (e.g., journal articles, academic textbooks). No website citations will be allowed.
