Thecompany uses order management software for managing accounting, customer data, sales, stock, and shipping. Coffeeand Toffee issues company-owned iPad tablets to employees for work use only. Your employees use the mobile tablets toconduct the tasks below.1. Tablets are used for in-store orders. When customers order from their table, the waiter will record the order on themobile tablet. The order is then sent wirelessly to the register at the main counter to be filled. The waiter picks up thecompleted order from the counter and delivers it to the customer. The customer can pay via the mobile device with aswipe of his or her digital wallet or debit/credit card. Mobile payments are sent wirelessly to the register, but cashpayments will need to be completed at the counter register.2. Tablets are used for shipping orders. A customized tracking system is used to manage the dispatch and delivery ofproducts ordered by customers. Freshly ground coffee, beans, and toffee can be delivered to local homes andbusinesses. The mobile tablet is used by the delivery person to track the order on and off the truck via smart labels.These smart labels track the product from pickup to delivery and tell the driver where the product needs to bedelivered. Once delivered, the driver will mark the product as having arrived at its destination, and the order iscompleted.Use the template to develop your policy.
