The details of the law code inscribed on the stele of Hammurabi offer insight into the nature of ancient Mesopotamian society. There is a sampling of crimes and punishments in a translation of a code.
How is this a basis for considering the relationship between the images on the top of the stele and the text (writing) on the bottom? Explain your thoughts, using at least two crime/punishments, and fully explaining the reasons behind your conclusions.
